Ravensbury Terrace

An unusual mixed used building including 24 flats with an open central courtyard and deck access to the flats on the upper levels. The ground floor comprises commercial space and a small car park. This site presented technical challenges, being on the bank of the River Wandle in Earlsfield and adjacent to a culvert. We put together the Flood Risk Activities Permit Application required by the Environment Agency and assisted in the relocation of a substation. The building is designed to look like riverside warehouses. We took over post-planning, enhancing the appearance with careful detailing and selection of materials. The scheme brings deck access bang up to date with stylish glazed walkways through to dual aspect flats, many with river views.
